#6 Recommendation

I would recommend this book to people who enjoy books that keep you wanting more. The book leaves you wanting to finish then read it again.

1 The first main event was when Kevin's mother dies.

2 After Kevin's mom dies, he discovers shares for a boat called the missionary boat called the Dayspring.

3 Kevin finds the Dayspring at the harbor and joins the crew.

4 Kevin sails to foriegn islands sharing Christ with natives.

5 The Dayspring crew meets a slave trading boat who tricks natives into coming with them and being slaves.

6 The Dayspring is caught in a hurricane and slammed into a reef.

7 The ship is discovered by the slave traders and is repaired to trick natives into thinking they where missionaries.

8 Kevin is aboard the ship while the traders are negotiating with the natives and destroys the ship so the traders can't trick the natives anymore.

9 Kevin becomes a hero and later decides to stay withe the Dayspring crew .

10 Later, after the ship was destroyed, there is a Dayspring 2 and 3 .

# 2-Setting and characters

The setting of my book takes place on the bay of Sydney , Australia.

Kevin- Kevin is an adventures brave 14 year old who doesn't like to sail .

John Paton - John is a pastor who travels to islands and shares the gospel with natives

Neils - Neils is a slave trader who tricks native in to coming with him to Sydney to work hard .

The book I choose was,Sinking the Dayspring, by Dave and Neta Jackson, and published by Bethany House Publishers,2001

I chose this book because of how interesting it looked.
